Flour Cup is the byproduct of a university student who just happens to be a foodie and a writer, and was looking for a way in which to combine the two together. 

I cook simply, and simply cook. I believe that the integrity of the flavour of each ingredient should be maintained. Food is delicious - why mess it up? 

I am currently pursuing an Honors BA in English and am particularly interested in philosophy, so during essay or exam times, posts might be scarce. But I'm always taking pictures of food I make, and will make an effort to post as often as I can. 

I maintain a healthy and fairly active lifestyle, and try to cook in a way that reflects how I live. But, just like everyone else, I have my moments of weakness... which eventually result in dessert posts!
